ELITE TV/MELLOW MAN ACE & LATIN RAP CONFERENCE 2008 MOVIE PREMIERE

Elite TV, invited by good friend and legendary latin rap artist, Mellow Man Ace, captured the premiere of the first documentary on latin rap music in history, pioneered by a number of latino rap artists at Leammle’s Theatre in Beverly Hills, CA. The film showing today, June 6th, named ‘Latin Rap Conference 2008’ was produced by DDR Productions and includes artists Mellow Man Ace, B Real (Cypress Hill), Kid Frost, The Beatnuts, Psycho Realm, and many others. The documentary tells of how these latin rap artists broke through in music history and created a movement that would encourage all latino musicians to push through barriers to share their talents with the world. Artists such as Mellow Man Ace, go beyond the music to encourage the people by producing his own movie, ‘Mellow Man’ and writing a book based on his life accomplishments. His film will be distributed through E1 Music formerly KOCH and is set to be released in 2010; while his book which is nearly 80% done is being published through Power House Books in NY with the help of wife, Tammy Reyes, who published books for Jean Simmons in the past.
